We kicked off 2026 in true Realty Pros fashion with  little Mardi Gras flair! Our first quarterly training of the year brought us together for another day filled with education, connection, and Sheriff in a truly memorable costume. 🙂

A Strong Start with Industry Updates

We opened the day with Marsha Evans and Patty Lynn, who shared the latest updates and forms from Florida Realtors and GARD. Their presentation provided essential guidance to help our agents stay compliant, informed, and confident in a constantly evolving market. Staying ahead of changes is key to serving our clients well, and this session delivered exactly that.

Creative Closing Gifts That Leave a Lasting Impression

Next, Jessica Lovatt with Welcome Home Boxes introduced our agents to creative and thoughtful closing gift ideas for new home buyers. From curated packages to memorable presentation ideas, agents walked away with fresh inspiration for how to elevate the client experience and leave a lasting impression at the closing table.

Understanding FinCEN and What It Means for You

Frank Laisch with Stewart Title followed with an important and timely presentation on FinCEN and the upcoming changes that will impact both agents and their clients. His session broke down complex regulatory updates into practical takeaways, helping us stay proactive and prepared for what’s ahead.

Smart Tax Strategy & Entity Planning

We then heard from Suzanne Engel with Easy Breezy Accounting & Tax, who delivered invaluable insights on tax strategy and entity planning. Her presentation helped our agents better understand how to structure their businesses, plan ahead, and make smarter financial decisions for long-term success.

Marketing with Tec Tony

Our final speaker of the day, Anthony “Tec Tony” Lloyd, brought both energy and innovation to the stage with his presentation on creative ways to implement Google advertising. Tony shared practical, easy-to-apply strategies to help agents effectively market themselves and their listings online. From building stronger digital visibility to leveraging smart ad campaigns, agents gained actionable tips they can immediately use to grow their brand and reach more buyers and sellers.

A Festive Finish, Realty Pros Style

We wrapped up the day with a festive Mardi Gras “parade” to unveil an exciting new contest within our brokerage and enjoyed delicious Cajun-inspired food. Overall, it was a great start to 2026 and we’ll look to keep the momentum going when we meet for our next quarterly training in April!
